Overview &
Instructions
These videos show how
high-speed digital cameras have been used in various applications. To reduce
download time, these very short clips have been extremely compressed and
therefore cannot be considered an accurate representation of the original
image quality.
For each of the video
clips below there are three options:
Microsoft Video for
Windows (AVI files): This format is supported by most PCs. When you click
on the file you will be given, in most cases, the option of saving the audio
clip on your disk or playing it immediately as an "Open File."
On some browsers, a new window will open with the first
frame of the clip displayed in the corner of the widow. Just click on the
picture to start the video or right click for more options. After viewing the
video, use the "Back" key on your browser to return to this page.
QuickTime Movie:
Most Apple computers and some PCs support this format.
Animation: If
you do not want to wait to download a video, you can view animation. A limited
number of the frames from the video clip are shown in sequence to simulate the
action of the complete video clip. Let the file download completely (as it
downloads the frames may be displayed slowly, one at a time). After the file
has downloaded, the clip will play continuously at "normal" speed.
The animation will appear within a new browser window. When
you are finished viewing the clip, close the window by clicking on the
"X" in the top right corner of the window.
